Office Building Foyer @ Tysons Central

Randy was hired as a subcontractor to help install Belbien architectural finishes to the accent wall panels in the foyer and elevator cabs at the Tysons Central office building in Tysons, Virginia in October of 2021.

The wall panels were built like shaker cabinet doors (check out how to wrap those in this video), and were mounted in such a way that they could be easily removed. Because the process of wrapping each panel required more than one piece of vinyl and some finesse-work to get the best seams at the corners, each panel was removed from the wall, wrapped, and reinstalled.

Why Choose Architectural Finishes over traditional renovation?

  1. Cost-Effective: Traditional renovations often involve tearing down existing wall panels, which can be both expensive and time-consuming. Architectural film offers a budget-friendly alternative as it can be applied directly to the existing surfaces, eliminating the need for extensive demolition and reconstruction.

  2. Variety of Patterns: Architectural film comes in a wide array of patterns and designs, making it easy to find a style that suits your commercial space's aesthetic. Whether you prefer a classic, modern, or eclectic look, there's a design to match your vision.

  3. Quick Installation: With the right tools and professional installers, applying architectural film is a swift process. This minimizes downtime and ensures that your business operations are not disrupted for an extended period.

  4. Durability: High-quality architectural films are designed to withstand wear and tear, making them ideal for high-traffic areas such as commercial foyers. They are resistant to scratches, UV rays, and moisture, ensuring long-lasting beauty.

Choosing the Right Pattern

The key to a successful entryway transformation with architectural film lies in selecting the perfect pattern. Consider the following tips when making your choice:

  1. Reflect Your Brand: Choose a pattern that aligns with your brand's identity. Whether it's a corporate, creative, or professional space, your foyer should reflect the image you want to project.

  2. Lighting: Consider the foyer's lighting. A pattern that complements or contrasts with the lighting can create stunning visual effects. For example, a well-lit area can showcase intricate patterns, while a dimly lit space may benefit from bold and simple designs.

  3. Maintenance: Think about the maintenance needs of the pattern. Some intricate designs might require more care and cleaning than others. Choose a pattern that fits your maintenance schedule and capabilities.
