• 3M Long-Term Vinyl: made from high-grade, durable sign vinyl, including advanced air-egress technology that allows for a perfect, bubble-free install every time. Our long-term vinyl prints are top-coated with a durable, UV-resistant lamination that protects your print from everyday debris and abrasion. This top layer is designed to be easily cleaned with any household cleaner and stand up to the heaviest wear and tear.

• Removable Photo Tex™ Fabric: a peel & stick adhesive material made of 100% polyester fabric. Its dependable adhesive can be removed and reused multiple times without any alteration or damaged to the surface - it can be installed for a day or a decade and is easy to remove at your discretion. Photo Tex™ textile does not shrink, curl, rip or wrinkle in any climate.

• 3M Exterior Vinyl: made from the same high-grade materials as car wraps, including advanced air-egress technology that allows for a perfect, bubble-free install every time. Our exterior long-term vinyl prints are top-coated with a durable, UV-resistant lamination that protects your print from water, sun and oil. This top layer is designed to be easily cleaned with any household cleaner and stand up to seasonal weather changes (average outdoor life expectancy of 5 years).

• Prep the surface: You can use rubbing alcohol and water in a squirt bottle. Or invisible glass cleaner. Lint free towel.

• Flat Interior doors: Any of the materials will work

• Exterior doors need to be flat and metal. Wood door may have problems in the future.

• Specialty Doors: Glass, Smooth Metals you can use any material we sell on the website.

With a wrap from RM wraps, there’s no need to hunt down any fancy tools to install your wrap - the squeegee you need for applying the vinyl and the knife you need to trim the wrap flush are included right along with your prints in the box. The only other materials you’ll need are some kind of cleaning agent (soap and water, isopropyl alcohol, or glass cleaner) and a cleaning cloth.

Installation instructions are included as well - simply scan the QR code engraved on the included squeegee, watch the short video on proper vinyl application, and then click on the link in the description for detailed instructions on the subject you’re wrapping (mini fridge, chest freezer, refrigerator, table, door, etc.)

• The Door: You do not need to take the door off its hinges to install our wraps. Most customers install their wraps while the door remains hanging.

• Hardware: Yes, we strongly recommend removing door knobs, deadbolts, handles, kickplates, and peek-hole covers before applying the wrap for an easier install and cleaner final finish.

As long as the your surface is properly prepped and clean prior to installation, interior wraps can easily last 10+ years.

Exterior wraps can be expected to last 3-5 years depending on your climate and how much direct sunlight the wrap receives (especially in the summer months).

This depends on what the underlying finish is, what wrap material you choose, and how long the wrap is installed before you remove it. Our “permanent” interior and exterior wrap vinyls have stronger adhesive, and become more-strongly bonded to the surface over time. Our Photo Tex material has a removable adhesive that does not bond as strongly.

If your underlying finish is not a “stronger” finish (e.g. lacquer. epoxy, or powdercoat) and/or the finish is no longer strongly-bonded to the underlying surface (e.g. clear coat that is hazing/wiping off like a powder, or paint that is peeling/flaking off), our permanent wrap materials will likely peel off parts of the finish when you remove the wrap.

Wipe down with a damp cloth and mild dish soap. Avoid harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive scrubbing pads. We like using invisible glass cleaner and lint free towel.

Long-Term Interior and Exterior vinyl: It’s best to use a hot blow dryer or a heat gun to soften the vinyl and the glue. If its been on for years, the vinyl may leave glue behind on the surface - you can use adhesive dissolving products like Goof Off or Goo Gone to remove the remaining adhesive.

Photo Tex: just grab a corner and peel - the removable adhesive shouldn’t not leave any residue behind.

Yes! In addition to graphic door wraps, we sell and install 3M™ DI-NOC™ Architectural Films. DI-NOC films can give flat interior or commercial swing doors the realistic look and feel of real wood grain, metal, stone, or carbon fiber.
