RM Wraps – Shop Tour Script (Clear, Professional & Engaging)

Hi everyone, welcome to RM Wraps. My name is Randy Miller, and today I want to give you a full walkthrough of our physical shop here in downtown Meridian, Idaho — right next to the iconic Water Tower.
It’s a crisp, foggy December morning in 2023, and I want to show you exactly what we wrap, the materials we use, and why they matter.

1. Window Graphics Overview

We print and install high-quality window graphics, both locally and for customers nationwide.

Materials We Use

  • 3M IJ40C and 3M IJ180C – premium air-release vinyl

    • Designed for exterior use

    • Handles heat and cold without shrinking

    • Long-lasting and reliable for businesses

One-Way Vision Option

We also offer 50/50 perforated one-way window film:

  • Graphics are visible on the outside

  • Interior remains tinted for privacy

  • Perfect for storefronts and branding

We can print, ship, or install locally — whatever fits your needs.

2. What RM Wraps Offers (Full-Service or Print-Only)

On rmwraps.com, you can:

  • Order custom-printed vinyl wraps and install them yourself

  • Or choose full installation service, where we design, print, and wrap the unit for you

    • Refrigerators

    • Mini fridges

    • Doors

    • Walls

    • Custom projects

Let me show you a few examples in the showroom.

3. Showroom Examples

Red Booth Mini Fridge Wrap

You’ll see this on our website under Refrigerator Wraps.
We also link “how-to” installation videos so you can see every step.

Rustic Artistic Fridge Wrap

This design uses my old painter’s techniques to create a real distressed, textured look.

New York Building Wrap

Another custom piece that’s fully printed in-house.

Every wrap we produce is custom-sized, laminated, and tailored to the exact appliance model.

4. Front Office & Workstations

When you walk in, you’ll see our brainstorm wall — this is where Devon and I sketch ideas, map projects, and plan upcoming designs.

The main workstation includes:

  • Custom-built MDF tables

  • Sealed with Zinsser Gardz

  • Wrapped with matte 3M air-release vinyl (IJ35C)

  • Durable, smooth, and perfect for everyday shop work

5. Inside Look at the One-Way Vision Film

From the inside, you’ll notice:

  • It appears darker

  • Passes some light through

  • We intentionally leave a tiny gap around the window edge so the vinyl won’t lift during temperature changes

This prevents peeling and ensures long-term durability.

6. Materials Demonstration Area

We showcase a repositionable canvas-like adhesive vinyl:

  • Great for door wraps, wall wraps, and artistic projects

  • Can be adjusted multiple times during installation

  • We’ll be using this for a large Boise Art Museum wall wrap next month

7. Plotting & Cutting Station

We use a 30" plotter (soon upgrading to a larger one).
This station is for:

  • Cutting decals

  • Producing precision-cut parts

  • Preparing wall graphics

These materials aren’t cheap, so accuracy matters in every pass.

Next year, we’re adding a charging wall for all our tools and devices.

8. Lunchroom & Additional Wrap Samples

Even the lunchroom becomes a showroom:

  • 3M DI-NOC architectural films on the refrigerator

  • Showcasing wood and metallic textures

  • Demonstrating durability and style for cabinetry, commercial spaces, yachts, and private jets

9. Production Area – Mini Fridge Orders

Here’s an example of a 20-unit mini fridge order:

  • Insignia 48-can models

  • We wrap the body, frame, and apply custom logos

  • Efficient workflow for bulk orders

We also film installation tutorials here using our lighting and camera setup.

10. Print Studio – HP Latex 700W

Our production backbone:

  • HP Latex 700W printer

  • Daily printing for doors, fridges, architectural films, POP displays

  • White ink capability for unique design effects

We store multiple types of vinyl to match each project’s needs:

  • Calendared

  • Cast

  • Architectural

  • Wall-safe film

  • Specialty textures

11. Shipping Station

We weigh and ship every order in-house.
Large pieces go on our industrial scale.
We keep extra ink and materials visible so we never run out mid-project.

12. Worktable & Daily Video Workflow

Every print goes through:

  1. Print

  2. Laminate

  3. Trim

  4. Video documentation on magnets

We create walk-around videos explaining:

  • Material

  • Design

  • Lamination

  • Installation tips

We upload these to YouTube for transparency and customer education.

13. Free Installation Tools in Every Order

Every order includes:

  • A custom RM Wraps squeegee with directional arrows

  • A precision knife

  • A QR code with installation tips

These tools help customers install vinyl cleanly and confidently.
