Can My Entire Dishwasher Be Wrapped?
Dishwashers vary more than most appliances in how they are designed - placement, type, and removability of handles, placement of controls, etc. These things can make some dishwasher only partially wrappable. We’ve collected examples of most of the major styles of dishwasher and shown what is easily wrappable, what might be wrappable, and what is not wrappable on each.

Installing Your Dishwasher Wrap

Partial Wrap (Recessed Handle)
This wrap was done in our standard wrap vinyl, printed in a paint-match color. Shown in this video: wrapping up to a curved protruding plastic trim piece; using heat to work the vinyl into the recessed handle.
Full Wrap with Partially-Removable Handle
This wrap was done with a different type of vinyl, but the techniques shown are essentially the same you would use on our printed wraps. Shown in this video: careful cutting around handle posts that can’t be removed; using heat to wrap vinyl around the handle.
Material We Print Our Wraps On - 3M™ Long-Term Vinyl
Strong, pressure-sensitive adhesive intended for long-term/”permanent” installation. 3M vinyl films advertised as “permanent” are still removable, it just takes a lot of elbow grease and the film will leave an adhesive residue behind. For removing this residue, RM wraps recommends a glue-removal product such as Goo Gone.
Air-Egress Technology baked right into the vinyl. No need for wet installation or pulling a print back off the surface to chase out air bubbles - simply massage around the bubble with your thumb, and watch as it magically disappears.
Opaque vinyl and adhesive layers. With some cheaper vinyl films on the market, you have to worry about background surface color bleeding through - dirtying and dulling bright colors, and/or washing out dark colors. With 3M opaque materials, any color graphic can go on any color surface without the print changing apparent colors.
Laminated with UV-Resistant Protective Film. Lamination is just as important as the vinyl film itself - that’s why we stick with a 3M lamination that guards your graphic from moisture, abrasion, and UV for several years. When needed, our long-term vinyl prints can safely be cleaned with any household or commercial cleaning agents.
