Seattle Interior Yacht Wrap: Transforming a Luxury Yacht with 3M™ DI-NOC Architectural Film
Wrapping a 1989 Codecasa 85 footer
When yacht owners want to update the look of their interior without the expense and downtime of replacing wood panels, vinyl wrapping is one of the best solutions available. This recent project in Seattle gave us the opportunity to completely transform four yacht cabins using premium 3M™ DI-NOC Architectural Film.
The project took 12 working days to complete and required two full rolls of architectural film. Every surface was carefully measured, prepared, wrapped, and finished to create a factory-quality appearance that completely refreshed the yacht's interior.
Why Choose an Interior Yacht Wrap?
Replacing wood veneer inside a yacht is expensive, time-consuming, and often requires significant demolition. Architectural film offers a modern alternative that provides a beautiful new finish while preserving the original surfaces.
Benefits include:
A completely updated appearance
Less downtime compared to replacement
Lower overall renovation costs
Durable, marine-friendly finishes
Hundreds of wood, stone, metallic, and solid color patterns
Easy maintenance and cleaning
Whether you want a modern walnut finish, a contemporary matte texture, or a luxury wood grain, architectural film can dramatically change the look of your yacht.
The Installation Process
Every successful yacht wrap begins with proper preparation.
Our process included:
Inspecting every panel and cabinet
Cleaning all surfaces thoroughly
Removing hardware when necessary
Repairing imperfections before installation
Measuring each panel individually
Precision cutting every piece
Installing the architectural film with professional techniques
Heating and post-finishing all edges for maximum durability
Attention to detail is critical on marine projects because yacht interiors contain complex curves, tight corners, and custom cabinetry that require experience to wrap correctly.
Four Cabins Completely Transformed
This Seattle project included wrapping four separate cabins throughout the yacht.
By the time the installation was complete, the dated interior had been transformed into a clean, modern space with a premium finish that looked like new custom cabinetry.
The before-and-after difference was dramatic and gave the yacht an entirely new personality without the cost of replacing interior panels.
Why Experience Matters
Wrapping yacht interiors is much different than wrapping walls, doors, or furniture.
Marine installations require:
Precision trimming
Proper seam placement
Consistent grain direction
Strong edge finishing
Knowledge of architectural films
Care around expensive interior finishes
Small mistakes become very noticeable in luxury environments, making professional installation essential.

Peter the owner of the yacht review.
Randy Miller of RM Wraps transformed four staterooms of my 85-foot yacht from dated, damaged, and frankly ugly into the best part of the boat. Using 3M Di-Noc architectural film in a warm Anigre wood grain, he wrapped the interior to a level of finish I did not think was possible outside a full and far more expensive refit.
What set Randy apart started before he arrived. He walked the interior with me, identified what to wrap, what to repair first, and what to leave alone, and his direction on photos, video, and measurements was so precise that his estimate landed exactly to the day and to the inch. I was away for the first five days and had every reason to worry about starting it off right. I did not need to. Randy and our captain Kyle worked together flawlessly to disassemble hardware, prep, wrap, and reinstall the interior to perfection, with the same care on door frames, kick plates, and edges as on the showpiece surfaces.
Over two weeks his work ethic, honesty, attention to detail, and artistry showed up every single day. He is a genuine craftsman and an even better human being. For the record, he is not a relative or an old friend. I had never met him before this project. He travels for large jobs and is worth every mile. Highest possible recommendation, and I may have him wrap the kitchen cabinets at home.
