Bombardier Global Express XRS Interior Wrap

Randy was hired to wrap the interior furnishings in this Bombardier Global Express XRS in May of 2026. This kicked off a whirlwind of projects that kept Randy with a squeegee in his hand for the better part of two whole months (one of which was the “Blue Fever” yacht wrap up in Seattle). Delays in parts meant that Randy worked on this jet for a couple weeks, left to handle other projects, then flew back to finish this jet in early July. When all was said and done, this project used almost 3 full rolls of 3M Di-Noc Oak FW-1127 Architectural Film.

Check out the photos and videos below to see what a difference architectural films can make.

All interior wood grain pieces from the plane were wrapped - more than are shown below. These are just the cleanest Before & After shots to showcase the material and workmanship.

Why Choose 3M Di-Noc?

The choice to use 3M Di-Noc architectural films is an easy one for many private jet owners. This material offers a wide variety of finishes, from wood grains to metallic textures, and can be applied to almost any surface. The films are durable and lightweight, and making them ideal for aircraft interiors.

The Process: Quick, Efficient, and Stunning

Randy meticulously documents every step of the project, capturing the entire process through photos and videos. These visuals highlight the speed and efficiency with which the interior was transformed. From start to finish, the project was completed in a matter of days, a fraction of the time it would take for a traditional interior refit.

Before and After: The blog is rich with before-and-after pictures that illustrate the dramatic change. Cabinets that once appeared worn and outdated are now sleek and modern. The walls, previously dull, now exude a fresh, contemporary vibe. Randy's expert touch ensures that every detail is flawlessly executed, leaving no room for imperfection.

The Wrapping Technique: Randy shares his technique in the accompanying videos, offering a step-by-step guide on how he applies the 3M Di-Noc film to various surfaces within the jet. He starts with the most challenging areas, such as curved surfaces, to ensure a perfect fit. His methodical approach guarantees that the film adheres smoothly, without bubbles or imperfections, showcasing the true quality of the material.

Time and Cost Efficiency

One of the most significant advantages of using 3M Di-Noc films is the time and cost efficiency. Randy charges by the day, and because the application process is so quick, the overall cost remains highly competitive compared to traditional refurbishment methods. This speed does not come at the expense of quality; instead, it allows for a high-end finish that stands the test of time.
